NORTHERN LIGHTS

Northern Lights is an extremely welcoming Scandinavian bar at the southern end of Little East Street. The building dates from 1800 and was originally two separate cottages. Despite the friendly ambiance in evidence today, much paranormal activity has been witnessed there. However, the current owners feel their guest is the friendly ghost of a former fisherman who has formed a sentimental attachment to the place and is reluctant to leave.

Ghost walkers are welcome to visit the haunted room above the bar and enjoy a glass of the house speciality, 'Fisherman's Friend', for just £1 a shot. Silas the Ghost Walker regularly invites small groups to visit the room for a little light refreshment and to test how attuned they are to paranormal activity. Furthermore, Charlie Jeremiah Tench will be returning in the autumn to tell his Ghostly Tales by Candlelight.
